Logo

The Lilypad logo is built around two concepts: the lily and the split. Both of these are iconic traits of an actual lily pad, but neither are represented directly. Rather, they are simplified abstractions. The lily serves as our icon version of the logo, while the split is represented through a modified typeface.

color

It was determined early on that the website would have a dark and light mode switch. A color system was developed to serve both versions, and then adjusted until all colors worked together regardless of mode. This allowed all the colors to work together in digital and print scenarios.

illustrations

Custom 3d isometric models were created by Tigran in light and dark modes for our major services. For lesser areas throughout the design we simplified down to isometric line art, most of which was originally created by rassco. In some of the more specific scenarios custom isometric line art was created.

Website

The website need to support light and dark mode, or in this case "daytime" and "nighttime". Another goal was to show different styles of architecture to imply that the service is accessible to all types of homeowners.
